Quick answer

Eureka Surveys is legit. It gives new users $1, pays from $5 to PayPal, bank, Visa and 70+ gift cards, and says it has paid out over $42 million. Its 500 most recent written App Store reviews averaged 4.26 stars, the best of 13 reward apps we measured, with many reviewers describing fast cashouts. Earnings are small, so treat it as pocket money.

Is Eureka Surveys legit? Yes, and it's one of the few reward apps whose recent reviews hold up to its star rating. Eureka gives you $1 to start, pays from $5 to PayPal, bank, Visa and gift cards like Amazon, Walmart and Target, and says it has paid users more than $42 million. Its 500 most recent written App Store reviews averaged 4.26 stars, the best score of the 13 reward apps we've measured. The catch is scale: surveys and extras pay small amounts, so think pocket money, not income.

We run Vazpop, a rewards site with surveys of its own, so we look at survey apps with an insider's eye. The facts below come from Eureka's website and App Store listing, plus public reviews we counted on 12 October 2026.

How Eureka pays

Eureka is made by SocialLoop LLC and has been on the App Store since 2019. You earn in three main ways, according to its listing: paid surveys, quick check-ins that claim small amounts from brands with a tap, and a daily poll. The website also mentions games and daily earnings just for opening the app. New members get $1 for their first survey.

Cashing out starts at $5. Eureka's website lists these ranges:

PayoutRange
PayPal$5 to $100
Visa$5 to $250
Bank$5 to $100
Amazon, Walmart, Target$5 to $100

The listing adds more than 70 gift card options. Eureka describes cashouts as instant, and its website claims 48% of users cash out $5 within a day. We can't verify that figure, but the reviews line up with fast first payouts.

Why Eureka's reviews are so strong

Across 13 reward apps, the usual pattern is a 4.5 star rating sitting on top of recent written reviews that average around 3 stars. Eureka breaks that pattern. Its lifetime rating is 4.7 from about 580,000 ratings, the most of any app we've looked at, and its 500 most recent written reviews (18 September to 10 October 2026) averaged 4.26. Only 15% were 1 or 2 stars, against 30% to 58% for most of the others (only Sweatcoin, a walking app, came close) in our study of reward app reviews.

Reading the positive reviews, the reason is simple. They're about getting paid. Of the 405 reviews with 4 or 5 stars, 84 explicitly mention cashing out or being paid, one of the highest shares in our sample. Fast, small first payouts build trust in a way that a big promised reward weeks away never can.

What the unhappy minority say

The 77 bad reviews are still worth reading, because they tell you where Eureka's limits are:

ComplaintShare of bad reviews
Cashing out42%
Support19%
Screened out or kicked out of surveys16%
Pay too low for the time16%
ID or verification10%

Some of the cashout complaints come from people who reached the first $5 easily and then found the next $5 much slower. That's normal: the welcome bonus and early easy tasks front-load your earnings. Others describe being screened out at the end of long surveys, or video tasks that pay a penny. A few mention verification steps before cashing out.

How much can you make on Eureka?

Expect a few dollars a week if you use it in spare moments. Eureka's own testimonials talk about "$5 every couple of days" and covering a coffee, and that's an honest picture. Surveys pay the most; check-ins, polls and videos pay small amounts but take seconds. If you want a sense of what survey time is worth generally, our guide to making money taking surveys online breaks down a realistic hour.

Eureka compared with other survey apps

Among the survey apps in our research, Eureka stands out. Its recent reviews averaged 4.26 stars, against 3.55 for AttaPoll and 2.92 for Five Surveys. The difference shows up in what people complain about. On Five Surveys, 43% of bad reviews were about being screened out, because its $5 only pays after five completed surveys. On Eureka, only 16% of bad reviews mentioned screen-outs, and every survey pays on its own. AttaPoll's distinctive problem is disabled accounts. Eureka's distinctive strength is fast small cashouts across a long list of payout methods.

Is Eureka Surveys legit? Our verdict

Eureka is legit and, on current reviews, one of the most trustworthy survey apps around. Its strengths are a low $5 minimum across many payout methods and quick first cashouts. Its limits are the same as every survey app: screen-outs and small amounts. It's a very good second app to pair with something that pays bigger rewards.

Tips for Eureka

  1. Cash out your first $5 quickly to confirm your payout details work.
  2. Do check-ins and the daily poll every day; they take seconds.
  3. Choose shorter surveys when you have little time, so a late screen-out costs less.
  4. Answer consistently, since inconsistent answers lead to rejections.
  5. Pick the payout that suits you. PayPal and bank are the most flexible, while Visa goes up to $250 if you prefer to save up for one larger card.
