Sites like Freecash: 7 alternatives, picked by what you used Freecash for

Quick answer

The best sites like Freecash depend on how you used it. For game offers, try KashKick (US only, $10 minimum) or Mistplay. For surveys, Eureka and Prolific do that one job better. For shopping cash back plus surveys, use Swagbucks. Many of these sites show the same offer walls, such as Torox and Lootably, so compare the same offer on two sites before starting a long one.

The best sites like Freecash depend on what you actually used Freecash for. If it was game offers, look at KashKick (US only) or Mistplay. If it was surveys, Eureka and Prolific are better at that one job. If you want shopping cash back as well, Swagbucks is the obvious pick. And if you want the same kind of offer walls with plain dollar balances and no cashout fee, that's what we built Vazpop to be.

Before the list, one thing most "alternatives" articles never tell you. A lot of these sites are selling you the same offers.

Why the same game pays different amounts on different sites

Freecash doesn't make most of its offers itself. It shows offer walls run by outside companies, and its own guide to the best offerwalls names several of them: Torox, Lootably, CPX Research, MM Wall, TimeWall and BitLabs. Those same walls run on dozens of other reward sites. Vazpop uses Lootably, Torox, CPX Research and TimeWall, for example.

The advertiser pays the wall, the wall pays the site, and the site decides how much of that it passes on to you. So the "reach level 30" game offer you saw on Freecash can show up somewhere else at a different price, with a different hold and different rules if it goes wrong. The offer stays the same. Only the deal around it changes.

That gives you a simple habit that's worth more than any list: before you start a long game offer, check the same offer on two sites. It takes a minute. On a $40 offer that might take you two weeks, a 20% difference is $8 for doing nothing different.

If you used Freecash for game offers

KashKick

KashKick is the closest match for American players. It's built around game and app offers plus surveys, and the money side is simple. According to its Kash Out help page, you need $10 in your available balance, you verify your identity at your first cashout, and requests take 1 to 3 business days. PayPal payouts only go to US PayPal accounts, and gift cards come through its KashRewards store.

The catch is that $10 floor. If you only dip in now and then, it can take a while to reach. We compare the two in detail in KashKick vs Freecash.

Mistplay

Mistplay works differently. Instead of "reach level 25 for $12" offers, you earn points for time and progress in games you install through the app, then swap points for gift cards. Mistplay started on Android and launched an iPhone app for US players in 2025. Points earned on iPhone don't move to the Android version, as its App Store listing says.

It suits people who want to play casually and not chase deadlines. It pays slower than finishing a big game offer, and you get gift cards rather than cash.

JustPlay

JustPlay is a loyalty program for one game studio, Gimica, so you only earn on Gimica's own casual games. In return you can redeem every 3 hours for PayPal or gift cards, as its App Store page describes. It's relaxed and low effort, but you don't get any choice of games.

For more ways to earn with games, see our guide to making money playing games on your phone.

If you used Freecash for surveys

Freecash has survey walls, but if surveys are most of what you do, a survey-first app usually treats you better. You get fewer screen-outs because the app knows your profile, and you get smaller, faster cashouts.

Eureka

Eureka is phone-first and pays to PayPal, Amazon or more than 70 other gift cards, per its App Store listing. It has the most App Store ratings of anything in this list, which counts for something. Surveys are short, and so are the payouts.

Prolific

Prolific is the odd one out, in a good way. Studies come from university researchers, and the pay is noticeably better per hour than consumer surveys. You can cash out to PayPal once your approved earnings reach £6 or $6, according to Prolific's participant help. Places fill fast and studies come in bursts, so it works best as a second app you check often.

We cover how to get the most out of all of these in how to make money taking surveys online.

If you want surveys and shopping in one account

Swagbucks

Swagbucks has been around far longer than Freecash and does a wider range of things: surveys, games, trivia and, most usefully, cash back when you shop at stores like Amazon or Walmart through it. If you buy things online anyway, the cash back alone can be worth more than an evening of surveys.

The trade-off is points. Swagbucks pays in SB, not dollars, and cashout amounts vary by reward and country, so check the rewards store in your own account. The full breakdown is in Freecash vs Swagbucks.

If you want the same offer walls with simpler money

Vazpop

This one is ours. We built Vazpop for people who like the Freecash style of earning and want the money side to be simple and visible. It runs 3,500+ live offers across games, apps, surveys and tasks, and here's what sets it apart:

  • Dollars, not coins. Your balance and every offer are shown in dollars and cents.
  • No cashout fee. Freecash's own PayPal help page says a 5% fee applies to PayPal withdrawals. We don't charge one.
  • A hold you can see. Offer rewards are held for up to 7 days (surveys up to 30), shown as a countdown on the offer. Freecash says held offers show as pending without an estimated release time.
  • Reversals stay visible. If an advertiser takes a reward back, the offer keeps its row with the reason next to it.
  • $5 everywhere. Same minimum in every country, to PayPal, gift cards (Amazon, Visa, Target, Walmart, Apple, Starbucks) or USDC.

There's no ID selfie to cash out. Every cashout is checked before it's sent, which keeps your balance safe from account takeovers, and payments go out within 1 to 3 business days. Vazpop runs in any browser, so there's nothing to install on your phone or computer. The full side by side is in Vazpop vs Freecash.

How to pick (and how many to use)

Don't swap Freecash for one alternative. Use two or three that cover different jobs, and keep the total small enough that you actually reach each site's cashout minimum. A setup that works for most people:

  1. One offer wall site for bigger game and app offers (Freecash, KashKick or Vazpop).
  2. One survey app for spare minutes (Eureka or Prolific).
  3. Swagbucks only if you shop online often enough for the cash back to matter.

And whichever you use, never use a VPN to unlock another country's offers. Reward sites almost all ban it, Vazpop included, and it's the most common reason people lose a balance they really did earn.

Frequently asked questions

What is better than Freecash?

No single site is better at everything. KashKick is the closest match for US game offers, Prolific pays better per hour for surveys, and Swagbucks adds shopping cash back. Pick by the kind of earning you actually do.

Are sites like Freecash legit?

The ones in this guide pay real money and publish their cashout rules. The warning signs on any reward site are a fee to join, a minimum you can never reach, or a promise of large earnings for little time.

Why does the same offer pay more on another site?

Many reward sites use the same outside offer walls, such as Torox, Lootably and TimeWall. Each site keeps a different share of what the advertiser pays, so the same offer can be listed at different amounts.

Is there an app like Freecash for iPhone?

Yes. KashKick, Mistplay (US), Swagbucks, Eureka and JustPlay all have iPhone apps. Vazpop and Prolific run in the browser, which works on iPhone too.

Ready to try it yourself?

Free to join. Every payout is on a ledger you can read, so you always know where you stand.
