Freecash pending earnings: the 3 reasons your rewards are held and what to do

Quick answer

Freecash pending earnings are rewards held before they reach your withdrawable balance. A routine fraud check usually clears on its own. If your chargeback rate is over 10%, all new rewards are held until it drops. And offers that haven't credited yet take up to 48 hours (Freecash offers) or 72 hours (partner offers) before you can open a ticket. Support cannot release holds early.

Freecash pending earnings are rewards that Freecash has recorded but not yet released to your withdrawable balance. There are three common reasons. The offer is held for a routine fraud check, which usually clears quickly. Your chargeback rate is above 10%, which holds all new rewards until it drops. Or the offer hasn't actually credited yet, which can take 48 to 72 hours. Freecash support can't release held offers early, and it doesn't show an estimated release time, so the fix depends on which of the three you're dealing with.

We run Vazpop, a rewards site that works with many of the same offer walls, so holds and pending rewards are part of our daily work too. Everything below comes from Freecash's own help center, checked on 12 October 2026.

Where to find your Freecash pending earnings

On Freecash, held rewards sit in your pending balance in the Cashouts section, separate from your withdrawable balance. To see which offers are held, open your Profile and go to Offers. On mobile, tap the arrow on the right of an offer. On desktop, the status is in the right-most column. A held offer shows as Pending.

Reason 1: a routine hold

Freecash's held offers guide explains that its team reviews a number of random completed offers every day. If yours is picked, it's held while they confirm the details. Most of these holds are short.

What to do: nothing. Freecash says no ticket is needed, and the reward moves to your withdrawable balance automatically once the check finishes. Support can't release it early, so a ticket won't speed it up.

Reason 2: your chargeback rate is over 10%

This one catches people out. On Freecash, a chargeback isn't a bank refund. It's a penalty where an offer's reward is taken back because a partner suspects it wasn't completed genuinely, and it can happen up to 90 days after the offer credited, according to Freecash's chargeback article.

One chargeback doesn't get you banned. But if chargebacks make up more than 10% of your completed offers, Freecash holds all your new rewards until the rate falls back below 10%. The usual causes are repeating the same offer, using more than one account, using a VPN, proxy or VPS, or giving incorrect account details.

What to do: check the Chargeback tab on your profile (it only appears if you have at least one). Then keep completing offers and surveys genuinely. Each clean completion lowers your rate, and once you're under 10%, held rewards are released.

Reason 3: the offer hasn't credited yet

Sometimes "pending" just means "not counted yet". Freecash's uncredited offers guide says offers provided by Freecash itself can take up to 48 hours to credit, and partner offers (from outside offer walls) are typically checked after 72 hours.

What to do:

  1. Check who provides the offer. The offer description says whether it's Freecash or a partner.
  2. For Freecash offers, wait 48 hours. Then go to My Profile, Started Offers, tap the green Support Ticket icon, tick the missing tasks and submit, with the completion date and screenshots.
  3. For partner offers, wait 72 hours. Then open the offer through the partner's section on the Earn page and contact the partner's support with your Freecash ID, offer details, completion date and screenshots. Freecash notes partners can take up to 35 days to reply.
  4. Check the deadline. If you finished after the offer's time limit, it won't credit, and a ticket won't change that.

If the ticket button is greyed out, the waiting period may not have passed, a ticket may already be open, or on mobile you may need to switch to list view.

Pending, withdrawable and chargeback: a quick glossary

Freecash uses a few words that sound similar but mean different things. Your withdrawable balance is money you can cash out now. Your pending balance is rewards that are recorded but held, either for a routine check or because of your chargeback rate. An uncredited offer is one that hasn't been recorded at all yet, which is why it needs a ticket after 48 or 72 hours rather than patience. And a chargeback is a reward taken back after it credited, which then counts towards the 10% rate. Knowing which one you're looking at tells you whether to wait, open a ticket, or keep earning cleanly.

How common is this?

Pending rewards are a small part of what goes wrong on Freecash. In its 500 most recent written App Store reviews, 11 of the 148 bad reviews mentioned pending or held rewards. Cashout problems in general were the biggest complaint, at 46%. We compare Freecash with seven other apps in our study of reward app reviews.

How to keep your rewards from being held

  • One account per person, and per household. Freecash checks both.
  • No VPNs, including iCloud Private Relay, which Freecash also bans.
  • Never repeat an offer you've done before, on any app.
  • Use your real details so verification and partners' checks match.
  • Screenshot progress on long offers, in case you need a ticket.

How Vazpop handles holds

We built Vazpop so you never have to guess. Offer rewards are held for up to 7 days, surveys for up to 30, and the hold appears as a countdown on the offer itself, so you know the exact day it unlocks. Every offer you start has a row on your Tracking page showing whether it's waiting for the advertiser, on hold, paid, or reversed, and if a reward is ever reversed, the reason stays next to it. No mystery "pending", ever.

Frequently asked questions

How long do Freecash pending earnings take?

Routine fraud holds are usually short, but Freecash shows no estimated release time. Holds caused by a chargeback rate above 10% last until the rate drops. Uncredited offers take up to 48 or 72 hours.

Can Freecash support release my pending earnings?

No. Freecash's help center says held offers cannot be released manually. Standard holds release automatically once checks finish.

What is a chargeback on Freecash?

A penalty where a reward is taken back because a partner suspects the offer wasn't completed genuinely, up to 90 days after it credited. Above a 10% chargeback rate, new rewards are held.

When should I open a ticket for a missing Freecash offer?

After 48 hours for offers provided by Freecash, or 72 hours for partner offers, with your completion date and screenshots.
